Skystar 1 CI / Skystar HD CI cams and keys

I am in NZ and have a paraclipse 2.4m solid dish on Telstar 18, reception is 43-47% and quality 20-25%. LNB is a Zinwell ZCF-D21A. I can receive TZUCHI ok - though AltDVB and MyTheatre and Technisat TV Centre software all say its encrypted it plays ok on MyTheatre and AltDVB only - it locks up on the SS1 CI player.

I'm wanting to learn what I can do with softcams and keys for DVB viaccess 2.5 for this site http://www.max4xxx.com - which is also on 3599 / 30000sr same as TZUCHI.

I hope there are no rules re softcams etc on this forum.... as I'm not wanting to get banned on my first post!!??

Sorry for long delay - finally I am back onto my satellite projects. Sold SS1 - now have 3 x SS2.3P, SSHD etc.

I'd like to be schooled on how to softcam with SS 2.3. Do you have a 'How To' link or previous reply in your forum that would help get me started?

I have assembled a bunch of CI cards and set top boxes over the last few years. I'm using AltDVB v3912, DVBDream v1.4i P1, MyTheatre v3.38, Technisat TV Centre software.

As regard signals I'm interested in are 152.0E MTV india (12519 V
tp 5L 2 Irdeto 2 ), Telstar 138.0°E Max4XXX (3599 V tp 19B DVB Viaccess 3.0).

Viaccess 3.0 also uses a 4 pin password - by default 1234 etc.

Any replies and/or leads to links/forums for a good education on plugins and what is required as to most suitable DVB-S/S2 CIcards and PVR programes greatly appreciated.

CI cards: 3 x Skystar 2.3P (for their auto symbol rate tuners), Skystar HD CI, Digital Era - I think its a Twinhan AD- SP400 CI (1041+4046). Dishes are 900mm on Motek, 2.1 solid deep alloy fixed, 3.8mtr C/Ku mesh on 36" Superjack actuator & positioner, 650mm dual lnb fixed. STB's: Zinwell ZDX-7000FTA, HDT HSS-760A with blindscan, MaxPlus HTS-2700S with blindscan. PC's Tyan Dual Xeon 3.06 x 7, but Asus K8N/AMD 3400+ 500gig SATA is my DVB-S workhorse PC.
